Does China threaten Hong Kong? No, the US+UK encouraged insurrection on the streets of HK. HK is prosperous. Is BRI “debt diplomacy designed to ensnare vulnerable 3rd World countries into China’s web? No, many recipients of BRI aid are struggling because of Covid but no asset seizures by China — merely extended terms of repayment. The real story? The US is about to be toppled as the No 1 economy.
